Top three platform points

1. Democratizing Senate Governance

Too often, student and faculty senators are held back from pushing our university forward because there is no fair or transparent pathway to bring motions to the Senate floor. It is time to fight for real Senate power so that decisions are shaped by student and faculty voices, not held hostage in administrative hands.

2. Strengthening Faculty-Senate Bridges

Students want to have a real impact on our university policies and operations, not be last-minute reviewers who might as well be rubber stamps. Many of the most important decisions happen before they hit the Senate floor, at places like Faculty Councils. I will fight to increase student representation on these Faculty Councils, so both student senators and society representatives can make a real difference.

3. Upholding Student Rights and Fairness

The university has 30 different rules that apply in 80 different situations. Students need fair and consistent academic policies that they can understand. I will push for strengthening the rights of undergraduate teaching assistants, university-wide policies for balanced exam scheduling, clear expectations for undergraduate academic labour, and accessible, transparent appeal processes.

Reason why someone should vote for you in 100 words or less

Our education shouldn't be shaped behind closed doors. That’s why I'm running to put student voice at the center: As your At-Large Senator, I’ll push for a reformed governance process where student voices drive change, stronger Faculty-Senate connections that keep every program represented, and policies that uphold student rights in both classrooms and workplaces. From reforming governance in the WRDSB as a twice-elected Student Trustee, to shaping advocacy at WUSA as a two-time member of the Advocacy Positions Committee, I’ve fought for systems that listen – and I’ve delivered. With Team Horizon’s results-driven approach, I’ll ensure these values extend beyond the Senate and shape a campus where decisions about us are decisions made with us, for us!

I have a lot of free time on my hands, and rather than use that to goof around and bedrot, I wanna use it to do some good and try to make student life easier! HOWEVER I am still very well-versed in the brainrot with my 10+ hours of daily screentime.

Fun fact about me: I live at REV, and I freaking love it there. You cannot prove me otherwise :)
