I’m running for VP Student Experience because student voices deserve more than just being heard. They deserve to shape decisions. I believe a strong student experience is built on belonging, fairness, and systems that reflect real student realities. As VPSE, I would focus on bringing student feedback into governance spaces, advocating for inclusive and connected campus life, and pushing for transparency when decisions affect students. I’m committed to representing students thoughtfully, openly, and with care, ensuring student experience remains central to every decision that affects us.

Top three platform points

1. A real and proper concert with a well-known artist (put me in coach 🙏).

Students have made it clear that what they are looking for from their student association is high quality events, like a concert on campus with a name that they can recognize. Other universities are able to secure real concerts for their students, it’s time we do too.

2. More frequent and diverse events: karaoke nights at the Bomber, cultural showcase, talent show, and more.

Campus social life needs help. Beyond large scale events, it’s important that WUSA build up a schedule of events that is consistent and diverse. Students need to be able to be able to check the event schedule and be confident they’ll find something that could appeal to them. WUSA needs to become a source of real community and social life on campus.

3. Advocating to food services to ensure proper accommodations and a broader selection of options for dietary restrictions.

No matter who you are, you should be able to find food on campus or in your residence that you can actually eat. You should be confident that whether you eat halal, kosher, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or otherwise, this campus is your campus.

Too often are student associations are places where excitement and ambition go to die. Where student leaders will speak about listening to students; without taking the action needed to help. I’m running because I want to support a team like Horizon with concrete goals that genuinely address the problems we’ve already heard that students face.

From day one, my focus at Waterloo has been improving student life on campus. I’ve planned large-scale events as a Residence Council exec and spent three terms as a Don designing engaging programming on limited budgets.

TLDR: If you want a chronically online VP who will respond to any questions or concerns: I’m your man.
